Used a few times. These are deeply flavorful, plump soup cups from Shussai Kiln, which also has a connection with Sori Yanagi.

I like them, but I'm selling them because I've accumulated similar items.
There are very small scratches. Please check the images before considering.

Shussai Kiln (Shussai Gama)... Shussai Kiln was founded in the autumn of 1947, shortly after the war, by five young men on the banks of the Hiikawa River, which flows into Lake Shinji, in Hikawa Town, Shimane Prefecture.
Influenced by William Morris, guided by Kanjiro Kawai, Shoji Hamada, and Bernard Leach, and resonating with the theory of Mingei (folk craft) through his encounter with Soetsu Yanagi, a proponent of the Mingei movement, they have continued to fire simple, practical everyday vessels by hand using local clay, with the wish to create healthy, warm vessels that accompany daily life.
