Refurbished: Yashica Electro 35 GT

The Yashica Electro 35, the world's first electronically controlled 35mm camera, was a popular model that sold over 5 million units with the slogan Can shoot with the light of a single candle. I still remember the advertisement photos on the back cover of weekly magazines.
The lens was also a masterpiece from Tomioka Optical, a 6-element, 4-group Gauss-type lens with a configuration similar to the Summicron.

*Condition etc.
The body has some light dirt but is in good condition considering its age.
The lens appears clear.
Both the aperture and shutter operate according to the lens ring. The B setting does not stay open.
Regarding the electronic circuit: Upon checking with batteries, unfortunately, the electronic control circuit did not function. However, since the shutter can be fired at slow speeds of 1/30 to 1/40 second, it seems possible to enjoy shooting with the renowned Yashinon lens by adjusting the aperture.

*Test Shot
Planned to conduct a test shot with black and white film.
